The mission

The mission of the project was to create a guide to promote a healthy lifestyle and help manage emotions in the workplace. Afanias is an association dedicated to promoting the integration and well-being of people with intellectual disabilities. It provides tools that foster independence and improve the quality of life for users and their families, meeting their needs through education, housing, employment, and cultural activities.

This project was developed in collaboration with the local government of Madrid and supported by the Association Read Easy, an NGO that works to make reading, culture, and information accessible to everyone, especially those who find reading challenging.

How we did it

Instead of creating a simple guide with tips, we decided to bring a new approach to this project to make it more relatable and fun for our users. Zii's journey is a comic book guide about an alien that goes to earth to study human behavior.

Because the target audience had specific needs in terms of readability and relatability, the testing phases were a crucial part of the project. Thanks to Afanias' constant support, we could make a relatable and user-friendly comic without compromising the sense of humor and fun of the project.
